PDP – Jonathan anointed candidate “Tukur” emerge chairman

Anointed candidate of President Goodluck Jonathan for the post of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party,  Alhaji Bamanga Tukur has emerged as the sole candidate for the post as other aspirants have stepped  down for him.
 
Others returned unopposed are Chief Sam Jaja, Deputy National Chair, Chief Olisa Metuh, National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Bala Kaoje, Victor Kwari Lagal Adviser, Abubakar Mustapha, Organissing Secretary, Mrs Kema Chikwe, Woman leader, Garba Chiza and  National Youth leader
 
Chief Ebenezer Babatope and Professor Tahoreed Adedoja have earlier  withdrawn from the race for National Secretary after protesting. Both of them said they were not withdrawing for any candidate but the party.
